| Not too much here, huh? We spent 12 days on a small Antarctic explorer vessel which we boarded in Ushuaia, Argentina. We made 10+ trips ashore and saw (and smelled) lots and lots of birds...mostly penguins. Although there were not a lot of species, we've posted the best of what we have. The personalities of the birds (like the fellow to the right) were distinctive and entertaining in their own right. Since we had an ornithologist aboard, identification was pretty easy. |
